Built on all new MS Windows technology, the AI-1CG uses the latest development tools available for Object oriented design and programming. Its ability to perform all the graphic work and page composing completely off-line, even on a laptop, expands its use for remote, uninterrupted operations for news, and sports type of applications, or whenever speed and working space really matters.

From the hardware point of view, the AI-1CG greatly enhances the exceptional features. Perfect video quality, SDI In , SDI Out, Upstream or Downstream mode, 256 levels of antialiasing, generated from the powerful dedicated video graphics engine. Create graphic content completely Off-Line

Unlike other similar Off-line products, the AI-1CG canvas display,
on the PC, is fully antialiased! The Off-line video like resolution,
the simple and intuitive operation, the focused array of features
and the scalability features make AI-1CG a very powerful,
platform independent, integrated Graphic and Text Content
creator, very efficient in non-linear editing, multiple-channel
networked solutions, interactive applications and more.

RGBA fonts can be used, on the same page, simultaneously
with its own rendered, fully antialised (256 levels), True Type fonts
and logos, completely OFF_Line, for the most resourceful page
creation, processing and display. AI-1CG is able to work strictly
off-line using a scalable WYSIWYG graphics edit screen. AI-1CG
is uniquely positioned to be an ideal tool of continuity for users
with existing large libraries of messages.

Fully editable text and graphic Static, Roll and Crawl templates

Complex, template-based, Graphics Pages can now be easily created, modified and updated. The text, the TABs, the graphic templates can be cut, copied and pasted, moved and locked to position, independently or in clusters. Roll or Crawl messages can be displayed in a rectangular window in front of the static graphics part embedded in the page. To make the graphics more apealing, before the Roll/Crawl is started, the static part can be displayed using a Read Effect (e.g. Dissolve, Push etc). Unlike other packages, running a roll in a window will not affect the left and right part of the page surrounding the roll window. All templates can be optionally locked, so that they can not be accidentally altered.

Template inheritance

This powerful feature allows the creation of new templates based on an existing template, maintaining the connection between the ancestor template and its Children. For each template the user can define an unlimited number of inherited templates, each of them being used as a "background" or as an "overlay". The Z-Order and transparency level of ancestors can be modified at any time.

Complex, sofisticated Graphics Composition tools

The AI-1CG is a very powerful, complete in its full meaning, Page Composing and Character Generator application. Compose entire presentations of storyboards, hero notes, lower thirds and over-the-shoulders as fully editable Template pages - at a speed, power and flexibility never available before. While an unlimited number of graphic and/or text templates can easily be overlapped, the access to each of them, the change of priority on z-axis, the alignment - individual or in groups, is simply a mouse click away. Individual TABs or groups of TABs, even when overlapping, can be ghosted/unghosted with one mouse click. Get complete control over your graphics with the TAB Inspector, change any property or group of properties with a single click, use numeric values wherever superior precision is required, move objects with the mouse or use the keyboard instead. Because all tasks can be accomplished in many different ways, any user will feel familiar with the easy to learn user interface. The complete customisation of the environment lets the user develop a special, intimate relationship with the AI-1CG.
