Adder I Family

The Adder I Series is Telecast's family of point-to-point and point -to-multipoint audio, data and intercom multiplexers. With audio channel counts to 64 per fiber, these high performance systems are the industry's leading line of portable, fiber optic audio multiplexers. Telecast's Adders are widely used in television broadcasting and professional audio sound reinforcement applications

This utility multiplexer provides up to ten intercom audio channels plus eight data paths in both directions over one or two fibers, or coaxial cable. Also provides four GPI closure paths. Four 2-channel plug-in modules allow you to be compatible with Clear-Com® or Telex RTS® intercoms

For use in multidrop audio applications, the Adder TD-161 helps you create flexible configurations on fiber, coax or both. Switch selectable control lets you choose two audio channels from your upstream Adder 161 transmitter, and resends all 16 on both coax and fiber to other Adder TD-161 units and/or Adder 161 receivers. The Adder AES-8 is an 8-Channel Digital audio multiplexer that transmits 8 AES/EBU channels (16 audio channels) on one fiber. This low cost, high performance mux features selectable sample rates, as well as selectable external sync, or auto reclock to the first legal AES signal.

For one way transmission of up to 16 channels of mic or line level audio, plus two simplex data channels and four GPI switch closures, on one single mode or multimode fiber. Offers both fiber and coaxial outputs, and can be combined with Telecast's DiamondBack systems for

For larger professional applications, these 24-bit digital systems combine mic/line audio, intercom, data and switch closures in a lightweight system.
