Viper II
Modular Platform for Digital &
Analog Production

The Viper II platform simplifies and expands the
world's most widely used fiber optic system for television production and
distribution.
Viper II, Based on Experience
The Viper II draws on years of worldwide experience in television broadcast
production. The original Viper is used by TV networks and stations around the
globe for sports, news and entertainment. We pioneered many of the advances in
fiber optics for remote broadcasts, as well as fixed systems for STLs, digital
transmission and HDTV production.
Now we have integrated these quality products and features with new innovations
in electronics, electrooptics and packaging to bring you the Viper II. The
result is an easy to use, flexible system that serves all your facility's video,
audio and auxiliary communications, at a price you can afford. The Viper II is a
natural evolution of the Viper
a system you can depend on.
A System that you can grow
Not all broadcast systems begin as
a complex network of video and audio
communications. They often begin as
simple, low cost links that expand into
something much larger. This is the
beauty of the Viper II.
You can begin with economical "throw
down" boxes where you need them and
then, when you accumulate multiple
boxes, consolidate them all into a single
rack frame by using module conversion
kits. They become plug-in cards with the
quality, performance, flexibility and
reliability that you expect from Telecast.
